1911 That Takes Glock Mags - The Alpha Foxtrot is a relative newcomer to the 1911 market. 1911 parts have been made for 30 years, now they offer a complete firearm. However, they have some really interesting offers that intrigued me. They make 1911 pistols chambered in 9mm with custom finishes, but the one that really caught my eye is their 1911-S15. This is a 1911 that accepts magazine clips!

So. But a little bit on Alpha Foxtrot. They are a subsidiary of Dasan manufacturing and use their Glock aluminum panels for their AF-C pistols.

The AF-C pistol is the ultimate competition pistol, manufactured from durable Mil-Spec Forded 7075T6 aluminum alloy. The 18° grip angle of the 1911 is naturally aimed, and the elongated beaver makes things a thing of the past. Unlike polymer-manufactured guns, which can only be textured "gas pedals" on the side of the frame, we provide a generous index finger to refer to your finger to control the rotation of the muzzle of the gun.

American Tactical Conversion For Glock Mags: All You Need Is An Ar Lower

Alpha Foxtrot produces the 9mm 1911. At this time, the only regular versions for the government and the leader are listed on their website. But on Range Day they had some interesting twists on this classic backyard.

The 1911 pictured below is the lightest I have experienced. The old saying "smooth glass" is very appropriate. It has a polished DLC coating that reduces slippage, according to dealer representative Josh Wee.

My friend Steve was there and he admitted that he is not a 1911 fan, but he really liked this DLC coated 9mm 1911 pistol. He was such a smooth shooter and a savvy gun engineer.

Another offering from the Alpha Foxtrot 9mm 1911 is this cutout optic version. They plan to use the group to add a rear sight to the target. It will be shortened for the RMR CC like the rest of the guns.

New 1911s Seen At Nraam 2019

While those 1911s were intriguing, it was the Alf Foxtrot 1911-S15 that stole the show. See above in the photo. The 1911-S15 is smaller than the Duce 1911. Yet it holds fifteen 9mm rounds! Alpha Foxtrot wanted to change the frame on the 1911-S15 to accommodate the magazine's shield.

The 1911-S15 is small for a 1911 and no compromises. You would still expect a straight trigger, light lock, grip and single action from a 1911.

The 1911-S15 will retail for $1,490. it will be soon in March. According to Josh Wee, they are going to change the tessellation a bit, the dust cover will go all the way, and the handles will be added since it is so small. They have an excellent order on their site.
