And we're not alone - fans of the locally produced children's cartoon often take to social media to discuss how much they love living in Bandit and Chilli's house.

"So many of our listeners have told us they want to go home to the Heelers - and we can't blame them, it looks great!" says Mary Bolling, co-host of the bluey-centric, Gotta Be Possible podcast.
It's a typical Queensland house, made of wood, often set high and has a large porch, thatched and a metal roof - and the Heelers are lucky enough to live in one!

It's the little details that make Bluey so amazing to watch. Eagle-eyed viewers will be familiar with the beautiful trees in our Heelers yard that often appear in fairy tales.
Says Bolling, who spends hours with her children's adventures, then shares them for her podcast: "The backyard can be the best part of the house — beautiful trees and native birds, and also room for a large garden and a trampoline. He lives with fellow Melbourne mother, Kate McMahon.

"[The trees help] give a sense of the seasons — one of my favorite low-key moments from Season 1 is a scene where the jacaranda petals are slowly falling on the porch," Bolling said.
Heelers' porches are a big part of their daily lives. Doors are often left open, effectively freeing up the living space that the family enjoys and allowing children to extend their play area outside.
The family also uses it to entertain family and friends - they set up a barbecue outside, and arrange meals around a large outdoor table.
The Verandah is such a big part of the show that it even has its own event - 'Santa's Verandah'!

If we were real estate agents, we'd wax lyrical about the incredibly high ceilings, intricate arches, picture rails and the glitz - ahh, to die for! And don't even get us started about the beautiful LED lights.

Bandit and Chilli clearly have good taste—their home is styled with a mid-century "Scandi" aesthetic, complete with little whimsical touches throughout (pictured in the ceiling is a motorcycle helmet! Image the beach! Quirky succulent plants And don't get us started on collecting bones and bandit skulls in your study!).
Bandit and Chilli have outfitted their living room with beautiful modern furniture, including a stylish period chair, banquette and coffee table. They also have an interesting (perhaps up-cycled) pergola system in their beautiful sun room, which also includes potted plants and various hanging baskets.
"The high ceilings and sunroom are a favorite, they just go well with the weather, which is generally perfect in Verse Bluey," says Bolling.
Brisbane viewers are quick to point out that many of the parks the kids visit in Bluey's episodes are based on real parks in and around Brisbane.

These programs are scattered throughout the city, making it difficult to pinpoint the EXACT area where the house should be located, but judging from the 'Wagon Ride' event, which sees children out for an early morning walk, their house is easy to walk distance to the local park. And what's not to love about that?
Who doesn't love a house with a view? In fact no one! And it seems that the Heelers house has a pretty amazing house, as it were, on a hill.
"The view from the top of the hill over the countryside is spectacular, and sporting landmarks like St Bridgid's at Red Hill and the Planetarium just scream Brisbane," says Bolling.
